Confirm dimensions, viewing angle, reach, mount location, cable routing and service clearance without obstructing driving visibility, airbags or vehicle controls.
Power conditions
Provide power range, start-stop conditions, shutdown strategy and protection needs. Confirm conversion, ignition sensing and sleep or wake for the selected build.
Interfaces and peripherals
List serial, Ethernet, USB, CAN, sensors and positioning antennas as needed. Verify electrical definitions, protocols, power, cable length and connector protection.
Field validation
Validate connectivity, positioning, power, vibration and operation on the target vehicle and routes, recording outages, restarts, obstructions and network changes.
Freeze the delivery build
Include mounts, harnesses, power adapters and software in the configuration list, with installation, acceptance and maintenance responsibilities agreed.
