Where this service fits
An available interface does not by itself complete a workflow. SOTEN supports hardware and system integration across module communication, permissions, application lifecycle and operator tasks, helping teams isolate issues between hardware, drivers, SDKs, applications and backend services.
Define engineering scope and deliverables
| Workstream | Assessment focus |
|---|---|
| Platform and OS integration | Confirm the Android, OpenHarmony, Starlight Kylin or Windows branch for the model, including drivers, application frameworks and management dependencies. |
| Capture and edge computing | Define data interfaces for barcode, RFID, documents, biometric and positioning SDKs; evaluate model format, runtime, resources and thermal behavior for edge algorithms. |
Project path from inputs to acceptance
| Stage | Result to confirm |
|---|---|
| Confirm hardware and OS baseline | Model, OS, modules, application framework and dependencies |
| Verify interfaces and sample code | Interface specification, SDK examples and individual function tests |
| Joint application debugging | Real workflow, logs and issue ownership |
| Exception and endurance testing | Exception recovery, sustained load and regression results |
| Release and support handover | Release version, closed issues and support responsibilities |
Product, project and engineering responsibilities
| Role | Decision focus | Confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Product owner | User tasks, feature trade-offs and product releases | Requirement priorities, compatibility and interaction examples |
| Project and procurement lead | Scope, budget, milestones and acceptance | Engineering and purchase cost structure, dependencies and deliverables |
| SOTEN engineering and manufacturing | Device feasibility, integration and production consistency | Configuration and interface baseline, samples and test evidence |
| Software and integration partner | Applications, backend and site deployment | Applications and APIs, runtime, joint debugging and support ownership |
Prepare these inputs
| Input area | Details |
|---|---|
| Development inputs | Provide application framework, OS release, SDK calls, sample data, logs and reproduction steps. |
| Deployment inputs | Identify owners for networking, permissions, device management, updates and backend APIs. |
Validation, acceptance and change control
Accept against interface tests and real tasks, including offline use, denied permissions, module timeouts, duplicate submissions and upgrade recovery. H81-5G-U62 can be evaluated for Android 13, OpenHarmony 6.0 and Starlight Kylin branches, with separate integration tests for each. Edge performance depends on model, input, runtime and load.
Product platforms to evaluate
Use these platforms for selection and sample evaluation. Confirm operating systems, modules and accessories per variant; a fully custom device is not equivalent to the reference platform.

How are palm-vein and edge algorithms evaluated?
Palm-vein work starts with the corresponding deliverable device and SDK, confirming capture, template and authorization interfaces. Algorithm partners provide models and samples; both teams agree evaluation methods for accuracy, response, power and sustained operation. Confirm the specific device and licensing scope for the project.
