Environment and mounting
Provide temperature, humidity, rain, dust, impact, glove, sunlight, vehicle vibration and installation constraints. Hazardous-location projects also need area classification and applicable requirements.
Systems and interfaces
List OS, app framework, device management, SDK, backend protocol, offline tasks, data formats and permissions, with owners for each interface.
Volume, batches and acceptance
Separate sample, pilot and production quantities. Provide timing, markets, languages, certification needs, acceptance methods, accessories and packaging.
Development and support scope
Define light, semi or full customization, including engineering costs, licensing, deliverables, maintenance, spares and change management.
